We are well funded, quickly growing in both team size and revenue, and need a senior frontend engineer to help us expand our offering and capitalize on our momentum.

The Role:

We’re seeking a senior frontend developer with an excellent knowledge of React and an interest in design / user experience.

You will work closely with the CEO/CTO to build and design the product, develop new features, and help own the success of the frontend. We’re looking for someone interested in wearing many hats - you should be excited about jumping into conversations on product design, product strategy, and anything else dealing with the success of the product.

We’re based in Oakland, CA but open to remote engineers as well.

Your experience:

• Javascript expertise (TypeScript experience is a plus)
• Proficiency building React applications - you’re familiar with state management approaches, component composition, and handling async logic
• Strong background in CSS
• Experience creating component + E2E tests (we use React Testing Library + Cypress)
• Great communication skills, empathy, and ability to explain concepts to people from both technical and non-technical backgrounds
• Comfortable learning and applying new concepts
• We are a highly technical team that prioritizes software craftsmanship, curiosity, and creativity - you should share these values

Nice to haves:

• Experience building + maintaining design systems
• Experience with accessibility best practices
• Knowledge in Webpack or similar frontend tooling
